I had undiagnosed sleep apnea that almost killed me. I got the CPAP, and all those problems went away.
I had kidney issues, narcolepsy, wounds that wouldn’t heal, lethargy, stupidity, and all those issues. It took about five minutes of a sleep study to figure it out. The doctor said I had probably not slept more than 30 seconds at a time in years.
Set up your iPhone to record you sleeping. That might give you an indication. If you sleeping is interrupted, you may have sleep apnea.
I’ve had two sleep studies. The first, in 1997, said I only had the mildest bit of apnea. The second, about 2012, had the nurse waking me up after two hours to put a CPAP on me. Boy, things had changed a lot.
Sometimes it takes a bit of work to find the right mask, but stick with it until you do.
There are apps that deal with just about anything. I was looking for a light meter on Amazon before I had the light bulb: there’s a light meter in my pocket. And sure enough, there’s plenty of apps for that.
I will ask a legal question for whenever you are healthy and Alex has time from administrating her empire. With regards to speed/stoplight cameras, is it legal to require you to state who was operating your vehicle at the time of the offense?
I must thank you for the efforts you’ve put in penning this blog.
I’m hoping to see the same high-grade content by you later on as well.
In truth, your creative writing abilities has motivated me to get my own website now 😉
Thoughts and prayers, hoping your doctors find the problem soon.
Get well Brent! Stay hydrated with more than bourbon!
Have you had a sleep study yet?

I see that there are iPhone apps that you can use as a screening tool to analyze snoring patterns. Pretty cool.

Brent, I hope you are on the mend.
